Kauai Estate Law, LLLC is a law firm, focused on matters involving estate planning, probate and trust law. I formed the firm in late 2008, after moving to lovely Kauai from upstate New York (Ithaca/Cortland area), where I had lived for the previous 24 years. Right now, I am the only attorney in the firm; I have a part-time paralegal, Connie, who is a conveyancing genius and my ‘right hand person’.
It had always been my dream, ever since my very first estate planning class at Cornell Law, to start a firm where I could help people find peace of mind by providing creative estate planning solutions, and assisting with the difficult probate and trust-related problems that can arise after a loved one dies. In doing so, I hope to combine the best aspects of the “country lawyer,” who truly cares about helping his or her friends and neighbors to get through the ‘sticky times’ with compassion and a sense of humor, and the sophisticated planner who has the skill and experience to analyze complex financial situations and implement the most creative, cutting-edge planning techniques. And I endeavor to do this while still keeping my prices reasonable, so that quality services need not be beyond the reach of the hard-working people who keep this island going. After all, everyone dies – it is not only the wealthy who need proper planning and help after a loss.

My office is located in the Lihue Plantation Building, which is behind the First Hawaiian Bank on Rice Street in downtown Lihue. If you need help finding it, check out the map on my website, or just give me a call. My phone number is 245-9991 (leave a message, and I’ll get back to you – most often within 24 hours), my fax is 866-245-9660, and my email – probably the best way to reach me – is info@kauaiestatelaw.com.
I look forward to meeting you.
